The 'made up' jargon of networking

Are you a networker who constantly has to explain to friends and family what you do for a living? Like any profession, networking is filled with insider sayings, acronym's and other coded language (no pun intended) that to the outside world, doesn't make much sense. Case in point: MU-MIMO? Or how about a Millimeter Wave? Good luck explaining those in a simple way.
